Keeping up a site is a lot of work and time and effort. Again, thx for this.
I will be pretty busy soon once restrictions on clubs are lifted which should be soon. But This will always be my Go To for latest Blood news and a friendly place where to hang out !

Not sure whther this a bug. It could be by design . After all, the Dreaming God's ways are inscrutable to us mortals. But...is there anyway to add a pic to one's signature WITHOUT relying on a URL link?

That is certainly more of a feature than a bug. While low priority, I'll give it some thought and let you know if I get time for it.

I agree that a chat client might detract from informative postings.
But in order to put some meat on the profile bones...how bout a gallery section where we can post pics (of anything...of ourselves, our pets, our work in progress (level designers), the view from our balcony , etc ?

Registration or logins via social media, steam and discord may encourage more users because it removes the inconvenience of having to create an account and remembering another password.

Chat seems a recurring request.
"Social media integration", if reasonably feasible with phpBB, could also be useful.

Both of these I can't immediately say yes to, but will give due consideration in good time. There are quite a few factors to consider in their implementation. I am of course hearing these requests here, it is just a matter of measuring pros and cons of each, and where things fall on the priority scale for the site.

A suggestion/ question for the Seigneur qui reve:

I am reaching the max limit on my private messages but prefer not to delete, pack rat that I am.
What can be done? Can the limit be increased? isthere a way to download the messages and then delet on A of S?
Should Imake a blood sacrifice? Pour out a libation?
Inquiring minds really would like to know...

Hi Lizzie. This has been requested in the past. I looked into it for some time today, and unfortunately it is by no means a quick or easy implementation. Given the amount of users who use pictures in signatures at this point, it isn't really worth the time investment. I'll make it a low priority for now and keep an eye out for in case someone comes up with a simple solution.

In the meantime, a workaround of sorts, if you like, is that you can actually indirectly add an image for a signature by first uploading an image to the board. You would then have to add the:

tags to its address. This should work fine and avoid third party sites, but keep in mind that signature images would not be elegantly resized by the board. The onus would be on you in this case to ensure that your signature image is not too big, or the board will conceal some of it.

On the Blood fan site The Postmortem there was a translator that changes English text into mock cultist.

Will this be revived on A of S?

https://blood.freeminded.de has been hacked for a while and there's something sketchy going on with the file sizes, so there's no large, dedicated site for custom Blood content left anymore. Is an A of S map hosting service still planned? There's a big void to be filled now.
