But here goes: when going for an extended, immersive Blood gaming session of 3 hours plus, what do you choose to wear?
Do you even care?
I care. I am VERY picky about what I wear when in blood mode. I could just be weird.
But what I wear puts me in the mood. Gets my instincts in alert mode and I play much better.

What I wear is .....

Perhaps this topic would be better suited as being a little more broad, so I will answer it rather in the spirit of what rituals or habits one might have specific to Blood.

It's truly a rare treat, but if I am about to play something in Blood that I know is going to be good, and which I haven't played before, I do my utmost to play it without responsibilities looming, and I play in the dark and with the volume quite high. Maximum bloody immersion is bliss, and I recommend it for any people playing good quality Blood offerings.

(I will guess that you wear a cultist robe for Blood)

Still have 1 hour and 50 minutes before radio silence.
But I jsut had to add that Blood indeed is to be played at night, phone in airplane mode, headphones on, and a Bloody Mary at hand.
About clothes, well, your guess is wrong. I actually wear what I wear in my Gothic -themed performances: skimply black leather, high heels. And, yes, cuffs on each wrist, not too tight though. It's like a ritual I just have to go through when I play a new level I know is good but never played before. Being dressed like this excites me, which brings out instincts and endorphins and other fun things.

Headphones full volume, naturally ! The sound in blood is glorious. Yes, I turn of the music at times jsut to soak in the atmosphere.

That's the first bit of the first map isn't it - so you got into the funeral home just about then?

I tried it on extra crispy no blindfold and struggled with the fanatic shooting through the gate. I was disappointed I couldn't lob dynamite over the wall to sort him out. The terrain in blood seems to be covered in a rubber sheet that bounces dynamite back randomly.
