I'll answer that myself now, since they only came to advertise their service/site rather than participate, heh.
It seems the dos version of Blood is workable with their program.

www.duke3donline.com However, I think this might be a better service., smaller yes, but its been around long while.

I have them linked here: (plus one other service)

Posting this to give out my thoughts.

NukemNet has been around since mid-2022, developed by aaBlueDragon (the same person who wrote Dukonnector). It was also around the same time period that me and a Discord community started to pick up Classic Gaming Arena for weekly DOSBox multiplayer events. I didn't actively start using it to play Blood multiplayer until recently. Prior to that I've been a mainstay at CGA for multiplayer but activity was reliant on scheduled game events.

Based on my understanding, it seems that Blood multiplayer is most actively played on NukemNet nowadays. I used to actively play on Meltdown since late-2011 (on and off) but I took a hiatus during the late 2010s outside of sporadic appearances. I originally planned to come back in 2020 but the "undeniable evidence" post by Radar, practically killed it. The only time I used it post-evidence was in February 2021 to play a duel or two but that was it for me afterwards. (I never logged back on since then) By the time NukemNet came out, some people who usually played on Meltdown back then made the move there. Last I checked, Meltdown (despite some saying it's the better service) has been barely active and only has people that stay AFK 24/7 (their Discord from what I've heard also has that AFK issue)

While NukemNet is currently in alpha stage and will take time to flesh out, that's where most of the multiplayer community went to nowadays. Though if you want to exclusively play the DOS version of Blood multiplayer, there is Classic Gaming Arena. It was supposedly a web-based DOSBox multiplayer service during the 2010s but was rewritten as a desktop client. Ever since then, it has seen addon support (in a database) and even support for Windows 95/98/Me for crossplay between retro hardware and DOSBox users.

Dukeconnector sounds a little familiar. I thought someone else also from Yang helped to make NukemNet too?
I'm just glad there still around, these "connection" programs for these old games and ports. :)

Anyhow thanks for sharing your insight and experience with these multiplayer launchers and some of there activity. I read your entire post, was interesting to read!
